It is a powerful work of art. There were small droplets of water all over the concrete slabs that looked like tears and gave the impression that the stone was crying. (I was less impressed when I discovered that effect was the result of an anti-graffiti substance made by the same company that produced the deadly gases used in concentration camps.)
While there 2 days ago, I must have been visually appealing. Three of my friends, independently of one another, photographed me sitting on one of the stones memorial without me noticing. Antoine’s (the one above) is my favorite.
